Holding Tight

People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don’t even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child – our own two eyes. Love plants that shoot these little strands out to grow up higher or hang on tighter….and when there is nothing to attach itself to they wind themselves in to tight little twirls of green….like families holding on to each other before and after we are gone …tighter and tighter we cling til we are no more ..but yet we cling to the thing we love the most self and family …they are the same … for family is what makes us …us
