Maybe***Maybe Not

Sometimes its better not to second guess yourself …the trip yesterday  had so many false starts …when it all came together it had a feeling of incompleteness….even though we both had fun ,chattering  like little birds in the trees..there was an unfinished feeling ….we managed to see new things by traveling down a few new side roads….maybe it was the missing partner …the third voice in the mixture …maybe it was all the false starts….maybe it will all come together when we lease expected it….

the sky was beautiful and the warm fall breeze was that type that makes one want to lay down in the grass and cop a nap  before it turns cold…the fall colors of Alaska were everywhere still appearing new with each fall second ticking away in front of the lens ….

First I will share the assignment of the day….day six of challenge was sunrise /sunset …even thought it was not the best I have every done it was taken yesterday and from my house

the sunrise from front yard was not the most awesome I have seen but one can not order up these things ….think the following quote reads true

“The grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls.”

John Muir

taken through the wooden pole opening on the mailbox at end of driveway…the blur in the corner is a spiderweb egg nest … famous quote tell the truth about sunsets

Lost, yesterday, somewhere between sunrise and sunset, two golden hours, each set with sixty diamond minutes. No reward is offered, for they are gone forever.

(Quote by – Horace Mann)

**************************************************************************

we started down the road looking for color ,photos that might work for the different group challenges …here are a few things we saw…..
************************************************************************

taken at one of the many little river side camp sites along the roadway….

*************************************************************************

a blanket of yellow leaves were laying on the spruce bow …I tried standing them up but wind kept blowing them over ..just as i decided to give up one stayed long enough to capture the light streaming through the yellow leaf..
***************************************************************************
Down the road a little ways ,we decided to take road not traveled in a while ..here are some things we saw…
****************************************************************************

the whitecaps were so amazing and the sound of the crashing waves sang to my inner native part…made me sing a song of long ago time
****************************************************************************

Then there was the last of the summer camping sounds on the lake as well the sound of jet skis and boats….

****************************************************************************
Even with this loud interruption my heart song was still playing over and over inside

We went down to the Water today

ah ah yah ….we went down to the water today

we went down to see the waves wave…ah ah yah ha ha

ah yah yah yah a yah a a yah ha ha ha
yah yah yah ha ha

we went down to the water to play yah yah yah a yah a a yah ha ha ha
we went down to the water just to see the waves wave ….

ah yah yah yah a yah a a yah ha ha ha
yah yah yah ha ha
We went down to the water today …..

Hi, I discovered this short article about holiday breaks particularly useful as I possess a holiday accommodation villa myself. There is so much opposition within the family holiday renting market I was unsure about if you might be willing to provide me a little bit of help on the best way to get the maximum out of my property for a holiday in Portugal. Cheers
